When should I secure my date?
Many of our clients secure their date 8-12 months in advance. Saturdays and peak months – March-July and October-December – book quickly.
Do you provide on-location services?
Yes! All of our services are done on location. We bring everything to you, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy the pampering!
Do you provide a package deal?
All services are packaged to your unique wedding/event.
Do you offer airbrush foundation?
Yes! Through years of experimenting with different types of foundations, we found that airbrush foundation creates a more natural look with less makeup, lasts longer, and looks the best in photos.
How important is the trial?
We strongly recommend every bride to schedule a preview appointment. It is an extremely valuable service. During the preview session, we will utilize our expertise and experience to assist you with designing the style you want through careful evaluation of personality, personal style, wedding theme, selected dress, accessories, and jewelry.
Is a trial required?
Yes, we strongly recommend every client considers a trial. During your trial, you will be able to see a preview of what things will look and be like on your day. After your trial, you can provide us with any feedback as far as things that you loved or things that you may want to change. We will then be able to point you in the right direction so your wedding day is as stress-free as possible.
When should I book my trial?
We recommend booking your trial when you have your dress in your hands or about two months before your wedding. This gives you the option of going home after your trial and putting on your dress to see a more complete look.
What happens during a trial?
During your trial, you will meet with our team that will be providing your services on your big day. They will assist you with choosing a look and hairstyle that will best fit your style. Our team will give you one complete look based on what you’ve decided. Minor adjustments may be made during your trial if needed.
Should I bring my veil/accessories to the trial? What if I don't have them yet?
If you've already picked out your big-day accessories, you'll want to bring them to your trials to find out how they fit in with your beauty look. Ask our team if they will show you how to attach and remove your veil or tiara at your trial. If you plan to purchase a headpiece but don't have it yet, ask our team if they have accessories you can borrow to get an idea of the overall look.
How long is a trial?
Makeup trials or hair trials are typically 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes.
What other services do you offer?
We offer makeup, hair, and facials on location for events. We also provide hair and makeup services for engagements, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, day-after photos, boudoir sessions, maternity photos, professional head shots, and any other special events.
What if I, my partner, or a member of my wedding party doesn’t wear makeup or is intimidated by wearing makeup?
Our artists are trained in several styles of makeup from light men’s grooming to polished photo-ready makeup. Your artist will customize a look that makes you feel comfortable and fits your personal style.
What are your sanitary methods?
All brushes and products are disinfected with 99 percent isopropyl alcohol between clients. We use disposable applicators when possible (mascara wands, etc.), and they are used once per client.
What type of products do you use.
We use a variety of professional products, including but not limited to Urban Decay, Stilla, Dinair, Makeup Forever, Tarte, and Benefit.
Do you offer faux lashes?
Yes! We feel lashes make a big impact in pictures. We offer individual and strip lashes for a variety of looks and feels, including brands such as Eldora, MAC, Red Cherry, Ardell and Eylure.
Do you stay for touch ups?
Yes, we recommend It. We will accompany you and your bridal party to photos, the ceremony, and before the reception for touch ups. We can't have your makeup running or going flat on your special day. Remember Pictures Last A Life Time.
Can I add or remove services after I secure my date?
It is best to know how many services you will need when booking, but if this is not possible, you can add services up to 2 weeks before your date. Be advised that adding services may affect your timeline on the day of your event.
How long does it take do hair and makeup?
We will coordinate an arrival and completion time based on your party’s size and services with you or your planner. This is one less thing for you to worry about on your big day! The average length of hair and makeup services for the bride is two hours, and for wedding party members, an hour to an hour and a half.
